![]() ![]() Two zipper pulls means you can “lock” this case, although it’s soft-sided so wouldn’t work for airline travel. Both of these will be the factors against the P938.The Pico comes nicely equipped with two magazines - one flush-fitting and one with a finger extension - inside of a handy little day planner-sized case. The P938 is also single action which I have no experience with. The P938 has an external safety, which the P250 does not. The P938 has an external slide release and when I tested it in the store, it felt comfortable, just like I had my P250 in my hand. So this will be a factor against the Beretta as I will have to get used to that. You can't do this with the Beretta as there is no external slide release. Right or wrong, its a habit I have formed. I'm used to using the slide release to chamber the first round of a freshly inserted magazine. The one thing that bothers me about the Beretta isn't a design flaw, but rather a change of user operation. I currently own a Sig P250 compact in 357 Sig and also have the 9mm kit for it. So I will have to learn a little bit no matter which I buy. I have lots of 9mm and that is the caliber I want for this gun purchase.Īnything that is not helpful, or strays too far off topic will be deleted, this is advanced warning.Ĭlick to expand.Unfortunately, I've never used a 1911 style handgun, but equally unfortunate is the fact that I've never used a striker fired handgun either. If I could buy both right now, I would not be writing this thread.Īlso, please do not make this a caliber contest in this thread. I do not think badly about other brands, but these are available, and I like both guns. To keep this thread on topic, I do not want to hear anything about any other handgun in this thread. This will become my CCW when I have earned that right. I will be purchasing one of these guns within the next month. ![]() Problems and/or praise are what I want to hear. I would like to know if anyone here has any hands on feedback, read personal experience, with either gun. The Beretta Nano and the Sig Sauer P938 are both available locally, and both have had fairly good reviews. ![]() I am looking to buy a pocketsized 9mm handgun. I then bought a P938 and haven't looked back. I ended up taking it back as the lack of an external slide release was something I was having problems getting used to. I bought a Nano shortly after posting this thread. ![]()
